🚇 How to Get Around in Korea: 5 Ways 🇰🇷
Getting around Korea is easy once you know your options. Here are the five main ways to travel — and when each one is the best choice.
🚇 1. Subway
지하철
(ji-ha-cheol)
Fast, cheap, and the easiest option in Seoul and other big cities. Signs and announcements are in Korean and English, so it's very foreigner-friendly.
🚌 2. Bus
버스
(beo-seu)
Covers places the subway doesn't reach. Pay with a transport card (T-money) and tap when you get on and off.
🚕 3. Taxi
택시
(taek-si)
Best for late nights, heavy luggage, or door-to-door trips. You can pay by card and show your destination on a map.
🚄 4. KTX (High-Speed Train)
KTX
(ke-i-ti-eks)
The way to travel between cities, like Seoul to Busan, in just a couple of hours.
🚲 5. Bike Share
공유 자전거
(gong-yu ja-jeon-geo)
Good for short, scenic rides along rivers and through neighborhoods.

💡 Get a T-money card — it works on the subway, buses, and even some taxis, so you can tap and go without buying tickets each time. 💛
