Response time
Korean with Toon is a personal project I work on around a day job, so replies aren't instant. I usually answer Instagram DMs within 1–2 days and emails within 3–4 days. If a message goes longer than a week, feel free to nudge — the message may have been buried.
What I'd love to hear about
- Mistakes & typos. If a Korean line, romanization, or English translation looks wrong, please tell me. Corrections usually go live within 24 hours.
- Episode requests. Phrases you keep wishing the site covered, situations you ran into on a trip, lines from your favorite K-drama you couldn't decode.
- Reader stories. If something on this site helped you on a trip, in a fan letter, or in a real conversation — I'd genuinely love to know. These are the messages that keep the project going.
- Collaboration. Travel guides, study creators, K-content community accounts — if you think there's a fit, send a note.
What I can't help with
A few honest limits, so I don't leave anyone hanging:
- Personal Korean tutoring. I'm not set up for one-on-one lessons. The episodes and culture essays are the version of help I can offer at scale.
- Translating long documents. Quick phrase checks are fine, but full document or song translation isn't something I can commit time to right now.
- Personal travel planning. The lessons cover the common Korean phrases you'll need, but I can't plan custom Korea itineraries.
